Working toward India

This week is an important in the planning of our upcoming trip to India.  Plane tickets, accommodations, fundraising, debriefing plans, etc.  Lots of numbers, schedules, and ideas floating around, competing for my brain space.

India is an amazing country and culture.  The more we learn in preparation for this journey, the more my anticipation grows.  Something that will make that excitement shoot through the roof is the fact that we get to see Sunil Sardar during the next week.  He’ll be in town related to the upcoming visit of the Dalai Lama.  We’ll be working directly with Sunil and his team on a project this summer.

I’ll blog more about our time spent with Sunil this weekend, as well as the specifics of our project this summer over the next couple of weeks.

If you’re the praying type, please offer some words on our behalf for good plans, and the funding for this trip – it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure!
