Michelle recently told me about an old friend of hers from her college days that found her on Facebook.  Sounds like a cool dude.  She told me about this, so I thought I’d pass it along to my readers.

So, this guynameddave – Dave Bruno – is preparing himself to launch out into a thing he calls the “100 Thing Challenge.”  This is a way for him to personally confront consumerism in the world.  Beginning on November 12 – about a month from now – he will have eliminated the stuff of his life, and will live with only 100 personal things for one full year.  So, he’s getting rid of a bunch of his other stuff – tools, extra computer, clothing, sporting goods, etc.  By the time he starts, he’ll be down to 100, and on his way.

Sounds very intriguing – definitely a challenging thing.  He’s got his own set of ground rules, and an explanation of the project on his site.  Go check it out.  Good luck Dave!
